Cadillac / Tower Pilates Teacher Training
Through the lens of anatomy and an understanding of the various forces acting both within and on the body, students learn not only the Cadillac repertoire, but also gain the knowledge of how to adjust that choreography to truly tailor workouts to meet the individual needs and goals of their clients.
For every exercise, we discuss the joint range of motion and muscular participation involved based on body position, plane of motion, and the type and direction of resistance. Students will learn how to modify the repertoire for everybody (and "every body"), from beginner to advanced clients. The basic Pilates principles of control, awareness, and breathing will also be demonstrated in every exercise so that our students (and their future clients) can deepen the mind-body connection.
Cadillac / Tower On-Demand Course Requirements:
Lecture: 20 hours
Observation: 10 hours
Physical Practice: 20 hours
Practice-Teaching: 15 hours
Practical Exam: 1 hour
Notes:
- Observation and Physical Practice hours may be completed in-person at one of our studio locations or on NPTV.

1:1 Observed Practice-Teaching sessions with a NP Qualified Teacher Trainer may be purchased separately at the studio ($60/hour).
The curriculum includes:
- Complete Cadillac and Tower repertoire
- Choreography, modifications and variations (beginner, intermediate, and advanced)
- Discussion of joint motion, muscular participation, compensatory movement patterns, and forces involved in each series
- Verbal & Hands-On Cueing Techniques
- Programming
