What you will learn

Part 1: Foot Activation & Mat Work

Explore the Rescue LOOP, a versatile tool designed to optimize foot function and strengthen the connection between the feet and pelvis. Through an intermediate Pilates Mat sequence, movement professionals will deepen muscle activation, refine alignment, and enhance proprioception. Learn how strategic foot engagement translates into improved full-body coordination, core stability, and dynamic strength. Although Rescue LOOP was created for the feet, we’ll also use it to create a stronger connection with the upper body

Part 2: Reformer Footwork for Full-Body Integration

Dive into the biomechanics of foot placement on the Pilates Reformer and its impact on movement efficiency. Using the Rescue LOOP and various Reformer components (jump board, foot bar, straps, and platform), participants will refine foot positioning to activate key muscle groups—inner thighs, hamstrings, and glutes—enhancing balance and postural control.

This practical session equips Pilates instructors with actionable strategies to optimize footwork, improve alignment, and elevate Reformer training for better strength and movement precision.
