Range of Motion & Potential Compensations: Part 1 - Mechanics
This workshop explores the ranges of motion available at the hip, pelvis, spine, and shoulder. We look at the forces acting on each of these joints and the compensatory movement patterns that can occur. For each range of motion, we will discuss potential compensations for a Mat and a Reformer exercise. Learning to anticipate these compensations will improve your ability to program and cue, in turn helping your clients improve their form.
