Unilateral exercises help correct muscular imbalances and can be used to strengthen the core when traditional abdominal exercises are contraindicated. This workshop focuses on fostering spine stability and mastering a diverse range of unilateral exercises on both the Reformer and the Cadillac. We will briefly review the musculature of the spine and pelvis, learning how to improve spine strength and flexibility for better posture and injury prevention. It is important to understand the delicate balance and stability and mobility in our often-uneven bodies and how to address this through targeted Pilates exercises.
