Join Natural Pilates Owner and Master Trainer, Laura Wilson, as she explains her approach to Reformer Side Lying Series: Foot in Strap, Squat (Side Footwork) and Knee in Strap. Laura reviews the available ranges of motion of the hip joint and potential compensatory movement patterns that occur with each. Laura also discusses concept of force and how the line of force and muscular participation impact this series and how people feel it in their bodies. Our goal is to develop a deeper understanding of the mechanics behind Pilates exercises so that we can better modify for our clients.
